How I Got Started
My name is Jonathan Macik, owner and operator of Automatic Gates of Texas. I’m a second-generation professional automatic gate opener installer. My father has been in the industry for over 35 years, and a recent move to Houston allowed me to start my own company doing what I love. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas in Austin and pursued an engineering role for several years before realizing my true passion of working for myself on automatic gates like my father. I take complete ownership in everything I do and treat each job as my property and my customers like friends and family. I believe in doing a high-quality job at a fair price and I stand behind my work. Once you are my customer, I will be sure that my services meet your satisfaction for as long as they’re needed.
